Hide & Seek

Mussoorie | After many hide and seek moments I finally managed to click this picture. Her parents were shopping in the next shop and this little brat managed to escape from their eyes smartly, only to discover me with camera.

Mussoorie – The Queen of the Hills

Mussoorie is a beautiful hill station in the norhtern India, situated in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan ranges, is also known as the Queen of the Hills. The name Mussoorie is often attributed to a derivation of ‘mansoor’, a shrub which is indigenous to the area. The town is in fact often referred to as ‘Mansoori’ by most Indians.

The main promenade in Mussoorie is called, as in other hill stations, the Mall. In Mussoorie, the Mall stretches from Picture Palace at its eastern end to the Public Library at its western end.

On the Mall road, Mussoorie has very long and a vibrant street market frequented by the visitors. As a street photography enthusiast I had a wonderful time and the long walk in the market provided some decent pictures.

Apart from the street photography It also offers some great picturesque sights which are photographers delight. Its my limited ability with the camera and the time constraint due to which I couldnt take better and more pictures.
